The annual local’s favorite event takes place at Eagle Town Park. So, you’re wondering where that “Flight Days” name came from? Well in 1922 the County Seat was stolen from Red Cliff by a group of mischievous Eagle locals and snuck back to Eagle. Since then we have celebrated those Eagle scalawags and their “relocation” of the County Seat to Eagle with the annual Flight Days event. This year we are also going to celebrate Eagle’s heritage and the resilience of our residents over the past year in the festival and parade.

In 2024, the Eagle County Fair and Rodeo marks 85 years of gathering as a community to celebrate our county’s Western heritage. The Eagle County Fairgrounds, located adjacent to the Eagle River, developed a reputation as one of the best fairgrounds on Colorado’s Western Slope.

Apple Festival
Hendersonville, NC
Ending my summer season with a trip back home to set up my booth in front of my dad’s shop on Main Street during the annual Apple Festival. This festival celebrates the harvest and season of apples and Labor Day.
