  • 14k - 24k gold filled or sterling silver metals which are hypoallergenic and nickel free. Our jewelry is tarnish-resistant and will thrive for years to come with proper love and care.

  • Gold filled jewelry has layers of gold alloy bonded to a metal core, usually jeweler’s brass. It is hypoallergenic, nickel free, and tarnish resistant. Gold filled has about a 100x more gold than gold-plated jewelry, which equals about 5% of pure gold.

  • While gold filled jewelry sounds similar to gold-plated, it’s entirely different — from manufacturing to longevity.

    Gold-filled has multiple gold layers, and contains a higher percentage of gold than gold-plated.

    Gold-filled jewelry is pressure bonded, while gold-plated is electroplated. Gold-filled has at least 5% gold that’s a minimum of 10k, so it’s more expensive than gold-plated. However, both are inexpensive alternatives to fine gold jewelry.

    Gold-plated jewelry is vulnerable to scratching and tarnishing, which exposes the brassy metal core. Gold-filled is bonded with thicker gold alloy and will last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance.

  • All jewelry will tarnish over time, especially in wet climates. If you're not a fan of the antiqued look, and want to keep it looking shiny, all orders include a polishing cloth that you can freshen up your Junipers Eve jewelry with. Please avoid chemical jewelry cleaners.

  • Remove jewelry before going to sleep, bathing, showering, swimming, washing hands, etc. Prolonged/repeated contact with water or chemicals (harsh soap, lotion, etc) may cause oxidation of the metal. ALSO, some crystals/stones are not suited to be in water and may begin to wear away with repeated exposure.

  • We use USPS first class mail for both domestic and international orders.

  • At this time, I am a one-woman show so please allow me 3-5 business days to process and package your piece(s). This does not include the time that it takes to ship your package.

  • If your jewelry item is ready to ship, it will be sent out 3-5 business days after purchasing. If the piece is made to order, a processing time is included, and will be shipped out within 2-3 weeks of purchasing. ***Junipers Eve is not responsible for the item after it is picked up by USPS.

  • All sales are final. Personalized pieces cannot be returned or exchanged. Order cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours after order is placed. To cancel, please email juniperseve@gmail.com with your order number. Exchanges are accepted up to 7 days after your order has been marked delivered. Pieces must be in the condition that they were sent in. Customer is responsible for the shipping fee.
